Man, I sure can talk the talk about how great my sweet peas are but YUCK! with capital letters, this was not my year.

What can I blame it on - Chinese dirt, the hot, humid, dry weather, no water, or maybe just didn’t get enough T.L.C.

This is my entry into the contest —-

I must have put all my TLC into my parents sweet peas when we were there in the summer.

My parents often make a comment on how similar the weather is in both cities Dalian/Vancouver, well here is an example.

I love the warm weather but I must admit it is very nice to be able to sleep under a nice warm blanket at night. Hopefully this coolness will stay for awhile - it almost has me fooled that we’ll be able to enjoy a autumn.

It is my dream to one day open a coffee shop.

I thought this sign was very appropriate for those parents who might forget that it’s not a daycare - or maybe a better idea -

A friend of mine suffers from Crohn’s and Colitis - this would be a great help if you could take the time to register for M & M Family night.

Just doing this registration with M&M for family dinner night will result in a donation to the Crohns’ and Colitis Foundation. Please forward on to friends and family, in past years we have not capped out the maximum donation and would like to reach that goal this year.
