A Friend of the family - Please help
On August 14, 2009, Penticton RCMP were advised that Lawrence SAUER, 82 years of age of Penticton, B.C was missing. SAUER was last seen by staff at the assisted living care home on Winnipeg Street, Penticton, where SAUER resides at 3:30 P.M. on August 13, 2009. SAUER had been talking about driving to the Lower Mainland to visit his daughter. SAUER drives a green 1997 Geo Tracker (photo attached) bearing BC Licence 864VAV. All checks with family to date have failed to locate SAUER. SAUER’s daughter has driven hwy # 3 from the Lower Mainland to Penticton and back checking rest areas, campgrounds and service stations with negative results. SAUER is described as Caucasian, 5′ 7″. 181 lbs, Grey hair and brown eyes. (Photo attached) Anyone with any knowledge of SAUER’s whereabouts or anyone who may have seen SAUER and or his vehicle are asked to contact Penticton RCMP.
