9 years ago today, right here in Langley B.C. our beautiful daughter was born. She arrived into this world 2 weeks early and has been keeping us on our toes since.

As some of you may know Bill and I met and worked at the Keg in the Country together way back when….
We worked with a guy Scott Milne for a few years, I would like to share his blog with you so you can read his inspirational messages that he posts.
A blog set up by friends in Ontario
Here is a little bit about what happened.
On Halloween 2008 Scott suffered a severe spinal cord injury (C3/C4) while playing hockey in Kingston, Ontario. He bumped into another player with his head down. He spent 3 months in ICU where he was deemed a quadriplegic to be ventilator dependent. Thankfully he is now breathing on his own. He’s been in a rehab hospital for about 2 months and will be there for another 6-8 months. Scott has some movement in his neck and shoulders and very limited movement in his right hand. He’s a very strong and active person and he won’t give up.
Our Nadia had a ZEN birthday party on April 24th, we celebrated 6 days early.
I know this sounds crazy….. a sleep over with 10 girls was absolutely ZEN like.
All these pictures are in backwards order, I have been trying to change it since last night and can’t seem to do it.
Well the great families in Jinshitan have invited the families and friends to come celebrate with them this year. Time to run, eat, find some chocolates, visit and enjoy the sunshine.

We started out the day decorating Easter eggs, this was Mischa’s first year decorating, she wanted to drink the dye cause it was such a pretty color. Luckily she didn’t.
